Xfinity/Comcast, once a week, will interrupt your browsing and reroute you to their page to “confirm your username and password.” The page displays both pieces of information (not really confirming anything) and then forces you to download their toolbar to continue. Not liking a cluttered browser, having no use for a toolbar, and mostly desisting anyone trying to force me to use their products, I find this incredibly infuriating. You can’t get past this page unless you click ‘NEXT’, which automatically starts the download.
