I agree with you on your point, but I think it proves that something negative could be said for just about anything.

I have no doubt that people can say negative things about pretty much anything. It just seems to me that a collection of personal belongings that all happen to be black would be less likely to piss people off than, say, a woman standing next to your workspace for 25 minutes screaming into thin air.
